Each year in Franklin County, as in other communities across the country, vital programs and services are available because of resources provided by government, corporate, and philanthropic funders. The 2009 Franklin County Resource Inventory is a detailed one-year snapshot of over $4.5 billion in federal, state, and local government and local corporate and philanthropic resources in the county. These funds -- which help to educate our children, keep our community safe, provide access to health care and social services, create vibrant neighborhoods, and support businesses and jobs -- flow to local governments, non-profit organizations, schools, businesses, families, and individuals.
